NORTH Dorset residents are being invited to find out how they can get involved in helping shape their local health services.
Patient Participation Week runs between June 2-6 and GP surgeries are inviting people to meet members of their own Patients’ Group.
The initiative is led by Patient and Public Involvement Development Worker Keith Harrison in conjunction with members of the North Dorset Patients Groups and GP practice staff. He said: “If you have an opinion we want to hear from you.”
Patients’ Group members will be available at:
Sherborne, Tuesday June 3, Apples Medical Centre, 10am–12pm
Blandford, Tuesday June 3, The Corn Exchange, 10am – 3pm
Blandford, Thursday June 5, The Corn Exchange, 10am – 3pm
Blandford Camp (for Eagle House Surgery), Monday June 2 during morning surgery (8.30am - 11am)
Eagle House Surgery, Blandford, Wednesday June 4 during morning surgery (8.30am - 11am)
Sturminster Newton & Marnhull Medical Centres, various days/times;
Gillingham, Barn & Peacemarsh Medical Centres, various days/times; n Shaftesbury, Abbey View Medical Centre, various days/times.
