POLICE are appealing for help in finding a man who stole four radios and some fresh meat joints from a supermarket.

CCTV images of the suspect have been released this morning and the police have issued a detailed description.

The offender entered Waitrose in Christchurch at around 3.50pm on Thursday, May 1, carrying a Waitrose bag for life.

He selected two digital radios worth £79.95 each and placed them in his bag.

He then selected a further two radios and added some fresh meat joints to his bag before exiting without making any attempt to pay.

PC Dave Williams, of Christchurch Police, said: “I am now in a position to release a CCTV image of the suspect and am appealing for anyone who recognises him to contact police.

“He is described as white, has ginger hair and a well-manicured beard. He was wearing a distinctive leg cast on his right leg below the knee, which had adjustable velcro straps across the front, and covered his whole foot.”
