A MAJOR road in Christchurch was shut this morning because of flooding.
The A35 Barrack Road was closed between the B3059 Stour Road and the B3073 at Bargates but re-opened around 10am.
However, at around 7.30pm on Saturday, the road was still experiencing flooding.
There is also flooding at Iford Lane.
Heavy rain has hit the area overnight and the rest of Saturday is forecast to continue to be wet.
There is also a lot of surface water at Stony Lane roundabout, Stony Lane and Bargates.
Purewell Cross roundabout is just passable due to flooding also water levels are subsiding as the day continues.
