Three dead deer found floating in swimming pool in Stroud
THREE deer have been found floating in an outdoor swimming pool in Stroud.
Neighbourhood wardens attended the private property yesterday, Thursday, afternoon and found the three dead deer in the pool.
Dominic Whitmarsh-Everiss, one of Stroud District Council’s neighbourhood wardens, said: “This is a very sad case where it looks as if the deer were somehow startled and accidentally ended up in the swimming pool.
"We drained the pool and recovered the carcasses which inevitably had to be disposed of."
