Student flats evacuated after fire breaks out in Bournemouth town centre

    Emergency services have been called to a fire at student flats in Bournemouth at St Peter's Gate.
  • Dorset Fire and Rescue said there are 11 fire engines, one high rise appliance and three specialist vehicles in attendance of the fire, which is on the top floor of the building.
  • The British Red Cross are also at the scene.
  • The fire is now out and firefighters are doing a sweep of the building to check for any hotspots.

It was obviously a serious incident with so many fire crews attending. Why not wait until it has been confirmed that everybody is safe before leaving such ignorant comments.

They have a motorhome where they support victims of fire. The provide shelter, assist with insurance, welfare and other support.
