Council to seek eviction orders in court today for two traveller camps in Poole

Bournemouth Echo: Council to seek eviction orders in court today for two traveller camps in Poole Council to seek eviction orders in court today for two traveller camps in Poole

BOROUGH of Poole will be seeking eviction orders in court today – if two groups of travellers do not move on beforehand.

Direction Notices requiring them to vacate the sites were served on both encampments on Thursday.

There are four caravans and other vehicles in Hatchards Field and, because of the proximity to the children’s play area, the council has begun the process for an early eviction from the site.

At Baiter car park there are six caravans and one motorhome.

Direction Notices have also been served on them and, if they fail to move, a court order will be sought to move them on.

The two separate groups of travellers moved onto the sites on Sunday evening.

It will probably be a complete repeat of last year ... we could run a "sweeps-stake" on where the next mess will be left...where the Council will seek eviction notices for and where the Police will do absolutely nothing???

The first of many, it's just becoming boring news, let us know when there gone, sick of hearing about it.

Arrived Sunday - Council go to Court Friday - 'early eviction' - I dread to think what a 'late' eviction would be -just in time for the Steam Fair? Still, nice to know all the welfare checks have been carried out - paid for by our money no doubt.

The website states these new caravans are not included in the eviction order. I think you'll be stuck with them for another week!
