A CHIROPRACTORS in Lilliput is supporting for the Daily Echo-backed Poole Festival of Running being held next month.

Lilliput Health, based in Elms Avenue, will be offering participants in the event, being held in Poole Park on June 1, free chiropractic, physiotherapy and sports massage support.

The team on the day who will be helping at the races, which feature events for children and adults, includes chiropractor Ben Dyer, sports massage therapist Adele Edmund, and physiotherapist Hannah Dacre.

Lisa Carroll, a chiropractor, says that the private clinic aims to support good causes like Poole Hospital Charity, who are the benefactors from the Poole Festival of Running, because of their inspirational patients.

She said: “All the patients that the charity helps are mega-inspiring and we want to do our bit, as it’s something we can help with, by focusing on musculoskeletal work.

“It’s actually very interesting for our staff to work with people involved in sports events because it is something that they are interested in anyway.

“People are doing all these amazing things and we want to help them.

“It’s a good, fun event, where we have more members of the team now, so we will be offering postural screening, taster massage, and stretch massage at Poole Festival of Running.”

The Poole Festival of Running features events for adults, teens and kids including the Poole 10k Race, The Dorset Cancer Centre 5k backed by Daily Echo, Mini-thons for ages eight to 14 and the Children’s Under Eights Fun Run.

Entries close for postal entries to the event on Friday with online applications open until noon on Sunday.
