ARTWORKS were displayed around Boscombe as part of a pop-up exhibition by Bournemouth Arts University students.
There were 22 second year Illustration students selected to take part in the Re-Lease project, ‘re-leasing their artwork out of the studio and into the community.
With works including interactive performances, sculptures and installations, the project was intended to encourage residents to think differently about areas of the town. Lead artist Claire Prosser, whose work, Relevant Information, was shown in Boscombe Library, said: “It is a real privilege to return and lead this project after taking part in it as a student.
“The students are really immersing themselves within Boscombe and taking on what it means to make artwork within the town.”
The exhibition was organised with the help of local businesses and Boscombe Regeneration Partnership.
