A LAW firm is celebrating two accolades.

Ellis Jones Solicitors has been awarded the Lexcel quality mark for the 11th year running and has been re-awarded Investors in People (IIP) accreditation.

The Lexcel quality mark is awarded to solicitors meeting the highest business management and client care standards.

Around 1,500 practices in England and Wales have achieved it. The Investors in People award means the firm can boast 21 years of unbroken IIP status.

Managing partner Nigel Smith said: “These are both highly prized standards and we’re very proud to receive them again.

“The Lexcel mark, in particular, is formal recognition of the way in which we work and is the result of rigorous assessment.

“It’s a real credit to the team and, on behalf of my fellow partners, I congratulate them on these achievements.”

Nicholas Fluck, president of the Law Society of England and Wales, said: "Gaining and maintaining Lexcel is no mean feat. There are many facets of being a Lexcel accredited law firm, including client care. A commitment to customer service in today’s evermore competitive legal services market is vital.

“By undergoing the rigorous Lexcel application and assessment process practices can show the positive steps they are taking to help clients in the increasingly diverse, complicated legal services market.”
