A NUMBER of classic vehicles were showcased in Bournemouth on Sunday, as part of the Classic Cars on the Prom event.
Every Sunday, throughout the summer, Bournemouth Promenade will play host to a collection of historic motors, all dating from before the early 1980s.
Ashley Miller, of Classic Cars on the Prom, told the Daily Echo: “These are classic cars, not vintage.
“Vintage cars will all be pre-1919. These are popular events and over the course of the year we have more than 700 registrations. The cut off point is July 31, 1983. We have a mixture of cars from the 1930s onwards. We get a lot of Morrises, Austins, Fords – a big mixture.”
