POLICE were last night still hunting suspects for the five robberies around the area detailed in yesterday’s Daily Echo.

As reported yesterday, there has been a spate of incidents in the past weeks, most recently an armed raider entering Central store at Cunningham Crescent, West Howe, on Monday afternoon.

No arrests have been made over that incident.

A police spokesman also confirmed that no arrests had been made in relation to an attempted armed robbery at the Co-op in Bearwood on Saturday, April 19, as well as an incident in April at Coral, Winton.

Police have also yet to apprehend anyone over an incident that saw five men force their way into a flat on the Quay, Poole, and when a 33-year-old woman was robbed at knifepoint in Lowther Gardens, Bournemouth.
