AFTER a damp start, around 200 bikers went along to last week’s bike night on Poole Quay.
The event last Tuesday evening saw Ian Rayfield, from Andover in Hampshire, walk away with the Bike of the Night title with his black and red Hayabusa GSX 1300.
The judge for the evening Paul Nealis, from Southern Sound and Leisure, said: “I picked the bike I would most like to take home.”
Ian added: “I bought the bike in 2010 after hearing good reports about Hayabusa and I’ve not looked back. It is an awesome ride and I’m really pleased with it.”
Ian rode home with a race kit courtesy of Muc-Off, plus a Bike of the Night mug.
He will also be invited to take part in the Bike of the Year finale at the end of the season, with cash prizes on offer for the top three places.
Season armbands can be bought for £7.50 from the Welcome Centre on Poole Quay, or entrance is £1 per event.
