Arrests made over alleged distraction burglaries in Bournemouth and East Dorset
POLICE arrested two men on Friday in connection with a series of distraction burglaries across Wallisdown, West Moors and Ferndown.
Dean Matthew Turner, 24, of Lockyers Drive, Ferndown, was charged with two counts of burglary on Friday and appeared at Bournemouth Magistrates Court on Saturday.
The charges relate to the theft of cash from a property in Bramley Road and the theft of a handbag and its contents in Dales Drive, both of which were allegedly carried out on the morning of Friday, April 18.
His case was sent to Bournemouth Crown Court, where he will appear on Friday, May 2.
Turner was remanded in custody.
Another man was also arrested and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
