THE Wave 105 Cash for Kids team is calling on supporters to join them in becoming superheroes for a day next Thursday.

The charity is encouraging as many individuals, schools and businesses from across the region to get involved by making a donation and donning their favourite superhero outfit for the day.

It has also joined forces with a host of Tesco Express stores across Dorset and Hampshire, where staff will be digging out their best superhero fancy dress to fundraise and support the initiative.

Wave 105’s charity manager, Gloria Hill, said: “We have decided to turn our annual Cash for Kids day into the first ever Cash for Kids Superhero Day and we hope to get as many people as possible on board. Even if supporters don’t own a superhero outfit, they can still get involved by adorning themselves in Lycra or by wearing their pants over their trousers and making a donation.”
