A POOLE man has admitted four assaults on police staff, claiming he has a “problem with authority.”
Alan Lambert, 52, lashed out at two different police community support officers and a police officer after being told he was drinking in a no-drinking zone on April 5.
Alison Saunders, pros- ecuting, told Bournemouth Magistrates Court Lambert had thrown his beer can in the air, striking a police community support officer on the shoulder, and then “kicked out” several times.
She said he also spat at a police officer when stepping out of a police van.
“In interview he admitted the offences and said he had no respect for authority and became angry when he was told he was in a no drinking zone,” she said.
Lambert, of Fitzworth Avenue, will be sentenced on May 15.
