A TOWNSEND man charged with assaulting his ex-girlfriend’s new partner with a brick has appeared in court.
On Wednesday, at Bournemouth Magistrates Court, John Williams entered no plea to assault occasioning actual bodily harm when he appeared via video link.
The charge relates to an alleged incident at Jewell Road on Friday, April 18.
The 22-year-old, of no fixed abode, also faces a section 4a public order offence of attempting to cause alarm or distress.
The case was sent to Bournemouth Crown Court. Williams was remanded in custody.
