THE funeral of Andrew Young, who died after being knocked to the ground by a single punch, will be held on Friday.
Mr Young was just 40 when he was punched to the ground by Lewis Gill on November 6 last year.
He died the following day at Southampton General Hospital from injuries sustained when his head struck the pavement.
Gill, of no fixed abode, received a four-year jail sentence after he admitted manslaughter but following scores of complaints, the Attorney General announced he would review this sentence.
Mr Young’s death will be marked with a Requiem Mass at St Edmund Campion Catholic Church on Castle Lane West at 10am, followed by a committal at Bournemouth Crematorium.
