A man has been charged with attempted murder following a firearms incident on the Townsend estate in Bournemouth.
The incident, which happened at a property in Jewell Road just after midnight on Wednesday, resulted in a man aged 48 being treated for a pellet wound.
He was inside the house at the time.
Ethan Francis Stanley, 24 and of Bournemouth, has been charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm, affray and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug.
He is due to appear before Bournemouth magistrates this morning.
Two other Bournemouth men aged 24 and 25 have been released on bail.
