VICTIMS of crime are invited to take their place on a special forum tomorrow.
Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner Martyn Underhill is appealing for anyone affected by crime from North Dorset to join the Blandford Forum Victim Focus Group.
The meeting will take place at the Blandford Community Room, Church Lane, from 10am to midday.
It will be followed by a victims’ surgery.
At the forum, those impacted by crime will be asked for their views on their experience.
Their advice will be used to help define victim services in Dorset.
A maximum of 15 people will attend the session, and a trained victim support officer will also be in attendance on the day.
Private afternoon surgery sessions are also available to any member of the public who has been a victim of a more serious crime, such as sexual assault, or for those who do not feel comfortable sharing their experiences in a group.
For more information, or to register your attendance, call Susan Bickle on 01202 223743, or email susan.bickle@dorset.pnn.police.uk.
