A young woman whose death sparked a murder hunt in Bournemouth died of multiple stab wounds, an inquest heard.
Coroner Sheriff Payne was told Mashael Albasman, 25, was found dead in a first floor flat in St Michael’s Road, Bournemouth on Sunday.
Miss Albasman, from Kuwait, is believed to be a student in Bournemouth and the circumstances surrounding her death are being examined by detectives.
Her body was identified by a friend.
A 58-year-old man, believed to be her father, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently helping police with their inquiries.
The inquest was opened and adjourned and a date for a full hearing provisionally set for July 3.
