DORSET-BASED vineyard and winery Furleigh Estate, has introduced its multi-award-winning wine to the World Duty Free shops at Gatwick, Heathrow, Southampton and Jersey airports and the Eurotunnel.

The shops stock the estate’s new 2010 release of Blanc de Noirs, a successor to its International Wine Challenge gold medal and trophy winner Classic Cuvee 2009.

Furleigh Estate owner Rebecca Hansford said: “The world is becoming Furleigh Estate’s oyster and we can’t wait for everyone from holidaymakers to frequent business travellers to taste our wine.”

Situated within 85 acres of rolling countryside in west Dorset, the former dairy farm grows a variety of vines, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes, used to produce their classic quality sparkling wine and Bacchus and Rondo grapes, which produce fine, still wines.

Furleigh Estate is open to the public for tours and tastings every Friday and Saturday.
