Five different sports played by Victoria School students were enjoyed by Year 6 pupils of The Collegiate School, Poole.
Collegiate Prep pupils were helped by Victoria School’s over-16s who taught them rules, techniques and demonstrated the skills with which they compete at regional and national level.
Pupils took part in wheelchair obstacle, boccia, wheelchair basketball, table cricket and polybat, thoroughly enjoying the experience. This is the second time that the Year 6 pupils have visited.
“It is a great opportunity for our pupils to interact with pupils who are in our local community and experience their love for their sports,” said Gary Smart, head of sport at The Collegiate Prep.
“We wish Victoria School the best of luck at the upcoming National Boccia Finals where students will be looking to gain international recognition if they win the event,” said Mr Smart.
