THE Wave 105 Cash for Kids team has launched its annual Easter Appeal.
From now until Friday, April 11, the charity is asking for listeners to donate an Easter egg to various drop-off points across Dorset for disadvantaged children.
Wave 105 Cash for Kids charity manager, Gloria Hill, said: “This is the fourth year of running our Easter Appeal and last year we were able to distribute more than 2,000 eggs to disadvantaged children.
“An Easter egg might not seem like much, but for a child who would otherwise not have had a treat at this time of year it can bring a huge smile to their face, and a little bit of joy.
“Hopefully with the help of our listeners we’ll be able to deliver even more eggs this year.
“Huge thanks go to our 2014 sponsor TJ Waste and our supporters, Pickfords, FJB Hotels and Sainsbury’s.”
There are drop-off points at various Sainsbury’s stores across Dorset as well as at hotels in the FJB Group.
