TRAFFIC lights were knocked over outside a pub in Springbourne yesterday evening.

This picture shows the scene after the post was knocked down outside Queen's Park Pub on the corner on Holdenhurst Road.

A spokesman from Bournemouth Council said it is not known how the post was knocked over.

The broken traffic lights have now been removed and a new set are due to be installed later today.

'Springbourne'?

We always used to refer to this part of our town as Queen's Park - the clue is in the name of the pub.

It was known in Willie Caves days as The White House.
The Springbourne sign is on other side of Ashley Road in Holdenhurst Road so it is Queens Park.
