LENGTHY traffic queues are building up this evening after a car lost control and ploughed into the hedgerow lining the busy A35 Upton bypass.
Dorset Police told the Daily Echo no-one was seriously injured in the accident, that involved one car and happened close to the Baker’s Arms roundabout.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene shortly after 4pm.
“The vehicle, a blue Skoda Fabia, was off the carriageway,” said a police spokesman yesterday.
“The vehicle does need recovery but it does not appear anyone has been injured.”
One lane of the A35 was shut off to allow recovery to take place, which led to queues building up in the area.
