Man arrested in connection with alleged Bournemouth rape
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of raping a woman in Bournemouth.
The arrest follows an allegation of a serious sexual offence in premises at Christchurch Road on Sunday, January 26.
Police said a 33-year-old man from London had been arrested on suspicion of rape.
He was assisting officers with their enquiries.
At the time of the reported assault, the police said the 22-year-old Bournemouth woman, who is alleged to have been involved in the incident, had been left “very shaken and frightened”.
