“I am thrilled with the new team and I am confident that we will provide the best possible service to our customers. We are delighted to be opening a Tesco Express store on Tuckton Road and look forward to playing an active role in the local community.”

A part-time receptionist job at my friend's work drew applications from 250 people, and some say that if you look hard enough there is work out there. Fearful people prefer to stick their heads in the sand.

Odd that the Tescos part of the development stayed covered so long and didn't appear on the advertising material whilst they flogged all the flats to the over-60s. I assume it was sold as being "how convenient, a shop right next to your flat" as opposed to "oh look, an off licence under your bedroom, how convenient"

What about the jobs it takes when inevitably one of either News Around Tuckton or the Co-op closes down? Tesco is a plague and seem to get what ever they want. I hope you all see sense and continue to support the many fine independents in Tuckton - Neil & Sons butchers, News Around Tuckton, Elizabeths will all suffer no doubt.

Wonder if they are then trained to be rude to customers, like at Tesco's by the hospital, with the little "well over the top" security guard, trying to bar customers who ask for assistance. This little "hitler" was a absolute disgrace, and frightening especially to elderly.
