A POOLE-based community charity is looking for volunteers for one of their charity shops which supports people with life-limiting conditions within the county.

Lewis-Manning Hospice, based in Lilliput, is calling on kind-hearted members to donate a small amount of their time to volunteer in the Blandford branch of their stores.

Paul Tucker, marketing and communications officer, said: “The hospice and its shops could not function without its network of volunteers and their superb commitment.

“We are always looking for more people, and would welcome those who could help out in Blandford at the moment.”

Volunteering is open to all ages and Paul says that it is an ideal way to meet new people, gain confidence and new skills out in the community.

Anyone interested in finding out more information, should contact Debra on 01258 458521 or pop into the shop based at 71A East Street.
