SPRING is finally here – or at least for the next week as the sunshine and fine weather looks set to continue.

Yesterday, Bournemouth was warmer than parts of Turkey and Greece as blue skies and warm temperatures returned.

Thousands flocked to the beaches to make the most of the glorious weather, and temperatures all this week set to hover around 12-14 degrees.

Today – Monday – Tuesday and Wednesday look likely to see the most sunshine of the week with Thursday and Friday slightly cloudier.

The weekend also looks like it will be mainly dry but with slightly less sunshine although temperatures will hover around the 14 degree level.

A spokesperson for the Met Office said the forecast for the rest of the week will remain largely dry and settled with "sunny spells and variable cloud".

There will be light winds but it will be mild by day and colder at night, they said.

Into next week, the Met Office predict it will stay generally dry and bright with some colder and more unsettled weather also possible.
