All residents that have noisey student neighbours next to them who dis-respect families, should be voting for the uni in 2nd place to ensure Bmth uni does NOT win. Show some respect in the town where you live and the loacs will be supportive.

Well, considering the fact that the students have been found to be cheating to win the competition, they should be disqualified from it, as it is unfair on the other competing Universities. They aren't cheating, so why should Bournemouth get to win?

Well I just think the whole thing quite insulting... How DARE a television network aimed at the 18-24 market hold a competition for students to win a cash prize to be used by the union to ensure they have a good send off?!

Silly sausages. Back in my day, all I needed to have a good time was a monopoly board, a cup of tea, and a metric f**k tonne of LSD. I spent hours being chased by a boot, an iron and a scottish terrier around park lane and I loved every second. Why can't these young-uns do the same thing?

@Bournemouth 87, how completely narrow minded of you. The students who exhibit such behaviour are a minority, among the thousands of students that attend the university who attend to complete a degree and contribute to the economy and country as a whole. You cannot tarnish a whole group of people based on your experiences with a small proportion of a group. In my experience I've seen many "adults" in the area too showing such behaviour yet people aren't so quick to tarnish the whole non-student population with same reputation, funny that. It seems to me every generation believes theirs to be superior with better manners and respect than the "youth today"

As for endorsing others to vote for the second place university;yes I'm sure they are all saints who have never shown anti-social behaviour in their uni towns.

Also @holdmyhandbag, while it is true that some students have been found to be using autobots to gain votes(which was not originally clearly stipulated as cheating) again that is a minority ruining it for the many. Other universities in the competition, including the current second place university have also been found to do so. People should do a bit of research before pointing the finger.

So you will tag all students with the tag of being nosey? Because of a few people? How about you take an actual look at all the problems in Bournemouth? Low and behold the real crimes aren't committed by students, as they are smart enough to not mess people's lives up or their own. The real crime is Bournemouth born and bread. Drug dealing? Bournemouth. Murders? Bournemouth. Hit and run? Bournemouth. Rape? Bournemouth. How about the armed robbery on Bingham Road? Definitely not students.

Stop and think next time, none of the real problems which you overlook are because of students.
