The G4S driver, a man in his 40s from Bournemouth, was uninjured.

The incident took place near Tesco Express in Salisbury Street, Fordingbridge at approximately 11.10am.

A short time later Wiltshire Police assisted in arresting two men. A quantity of cash has been recovered.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has any information is asked to contact CID at Lyndhurst police station on 101. Alternatively call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

They will be given 18 months, and be out.

But good policing. It must be frustrating to nab these characters and have the magistrate/courts treat them with kid gloves.
