COULD these be AFC Bournemouth’s youngest fans?

Three-month-old twins Molly and Ivy, fully decked out in the team’s colours, were introduced to Cherries manager Eddie Howe and retired player Steve Fletcher, pictured, by their sports-mad dad Ross Humphrey.

Ross, nursery manager at Knoll Gardens in Wimborne, is a former Junior Cherry and was thrilled when he and wife Claire were invited to take his new daughters, who arrived on November 15, to meet the pair pitchside at the Goldsands Stadium.

Ross, who also plays cricket for Sturminster Marshall, said: “I love gardening, but I love sport as well, so when the opportunity came up to show off the twins to Eddie and Steve I jumped at the chance.

“Who knows, with England’s women’s football and cricket teams really making a mark these days, perhaps Molly and Ivy will have successful sporting careers ahead of them.”

Steve Fletcher said: “Molly and Ivy are adorable, and it was a real pleasure for Eddie and I to meet them.

“I wish them the best of luck in whichever sporting route they decide to go down.”
