COMMUTERS have been facing delays this morning after a three-car crash on the Upton Bypass.

Police were called by the ambulance service at 7.55am to the Poole-bound carriageway near the Upton slip road.

The cars involved were a Ford Fiesta, Toyota Avensis and a Ford Focus and one lane was closed to allow for recovery of the vehicles.

A Dorset Police spokesman said that one person was taken to Poole Hospital, but their injuries were not thought to be serious.

The road was fully reopened at 8.41am.

Wet roads means spray being kicked up from vehicles not fitted with mud flaps, something manufacturers removed to save money but not to help save your life. I'm pretty sure there's a large number of accidents caused by this problem.
