The first prize winner of Poole Harbour Commissioners winter photo competition has received his award and can’t wait to get out and use it.

Craig Fascione from Poole, who entered the winter water activities contest won first prize and a Go-Pro Camera, which was presented by Jim Stewart, PHC chief executive.

His winning shot was a fantastic action photo of H20 kitesurfer Jordan Hurst in Poole Harbour, judged the top shot in the first category of the photo competition.

Craig, who is a water sports enthusiast said: “I couldn’t believe it when they told me I had won the PHC competition, there were some great images.

“I have wanted a Go-Pro camera for a while now, it’s a great piece of kit and I can’t wait to get out on the water and use it.”

The final category of the PHC and Daily Echo competition is now underway and it is not too late for under 21s to enter their Poole Harbour snaps.
