It was only stationary because the van stopped suddenly without indicating! Then it drove off without checking the occupants of the car were ok or leaving any details! Sadly no sympathy! Also disgusted that bystanders were filming and taking photos of the scene as the emergency services were working to treat and free the casualty’s..... Hope they throw the book at the driver of the van!

I understood the van driver was turning into the road where he lived. If you say he was not indicating, I assume you witnessed the collision and told the Police this? Whatever the situation, the following car appears to have been travelling quite fast as it pushed the van forward some distance, and the car occupants had to be cut out by firefighters after getting back into their car after initially getting out of it.

Yes I did witness the collision; I witnessed the whole thing including the van making off afterwards. and yes I did tell the police. I stayed with both occupants of the car alongside the first ambulance crew until being relieved by the fire crew, the driver remained trapped in the vehicle while the passenger got out and then got back in. 20-25mph is well within the limit for that stretch of road!
