RINGWOOD and Fording-bridge Lions Club is set to take over the pool at Ringwood Health and Leisure Club for its annual fundraising Swimarathon.
All are welcome to enter a team of up to six swimmers to help raise cash for their chosen charity or project.
The event takes place at the leisure club in Parsonage Barn Lane on Sunday, March 16, from 2pm.
Entry is free and each team member will need to arrange their own sponsorship for the event.
Sponsorship packs are available now free of charge to anyone wishing to enter a team.
The sponsorship money raised will be divided with half being allocated to the team’s chosen charity or project and the remainder being allocated to Lions charitable projects in the community.
Lions President Stephen Sherring said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for the people of Ringwood to help raise funds for their local cause and at the same time have some fun.”
