A MAN has admitted failing to report an accident after the death of young father Daniel Robbie.
Matthew James, of Stoneylawn in Winterborne Kingston, pleaded guilty to the charge at Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
He has denied a second charge of failing to stop following a collision in relation to the same incident, and will face a trial during the summer.
It is the second time the 27-year-old has appeared in court in connection with the death of Mr Robbie on the Upton Bypass last year.
Mr Robbie, 23, of Throop Close in Bournemouth, died while riding a child’s micro scooter home along the busy road.
His body was discovered in undergrowth on Sunday, September 15.
James will appear in court again at 1.45pm next Thursday, February 27 for a case management hearing.
