THOUSANDS of runners of all ages and abilities will be racing along Bournemouth seafront to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

The annual Bournemouth Bay Run takes place on Sunday, March 30, including a half marathon, 10k road race, 5k fun run and a 1k children’s fun run, all organised by Bournemouth Tourism and sponsored by Fitness First.

British Heart Foundation event organiser Andrew Coles said: “Each year we rely on our amazing fundraisers to help us to continue our life-saving work and bring hope to the thousands of people suffering from heart disease in the UK.”

More than 3,000 runners take part each year and entry fees range from £3 to £18 according to the event they enter.
