Costs of £85. Disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months. To be reduced by 91 days of the defendant satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.

SCOTT WILLIAM LINDSAY aged 21 of Herm Road, Parkstone, Poole. Admitted stealing a chainsaw, copper cable and batteries, belonging to Dorset Police at Poole. Committed to prison for four months. Also sentenced for original offence in respect of which a suspended sentence order was made in January 2014 – stealing money and a torch, valued at £22, at Pryors Walk, Lytchett Matravers, Poole. Suspended sentence of two months’ imprisonment, suspended for 12 months, now implemented consecutive to above.

RACHID MOSAWI aged 46 of no fixed abode. Admitted stealing nine boxes of Gillette Fusion Razor Blades, belonging to Co-op, Ashley Road, to the value of £95.31. Also sentenced for original offences in respect of which a conditional discharge was made in November 2013: stealing an iPhone 5c ; stealing Lynx deodorant to the value of £2.89, belonging to Lidl at Liverpool; stealing two bottles of vodka to the value of £36 from Asda, Castlepoint. Also convicted of stealing two bottles of Jack Daniels, to the value of £52, belonging to Marks and Spencer, Commercial Road, Bournemouth. Committed to prison for six weeks.

ASHLEY DEREK JAMES CLARK aged 20 of Patchins Road, Poole. Admitted stealing a pedal cycle belonging to Dorset Police. Conditional discharge of 12 months. To pay victim surcharge of £15. Costs £85. Also admitted committing a further offence during the period of a suspended sentence order imposed for two counts of assault by beating and one of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. Now committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 14 months and to comply with curfew and exclusion requirements.

Also admitted two counts of assault by beating at Herbert Avenue. Community order made to participate in the Low Intensity Alcohol Programme for 14 days. Also to carry out unpaid work for 100 hours within the next 12 months. To pay a total compensation of £200.
