TRADERS are being urged to make the most of Bournemouth’s newest festival.

As reported in the Daily Echo, the town’s first-ever Wheels Festival takes place between May 24 and 26, with attractions around the town.

The free weekend will see around 100 events in the gardens, at the seafront, on the cliff tops and at Meyrick Park, with an estimated 360,000 people expected over the three days.

There will be BMX stunts, classic cars, monster trucks, supercars and much more.

For those looking to take advantage of the swelled numbers in town, sites will be available across the area.

Based on the successful Bournemouth Air Festival trading model, and to cater for a variety of businesses from big brands to local independent companies, there are platinum, gold and silver packages available to suit different budgets.

Jon Weaver, Wheels Festival director, said: “It’s a new and exciting festival to be part of and marks the start of Bournemouth’s great spring/ summer entertainment programme.

“From the number of trading enquiries we’ve been receiving since applications launched in January, businesses have been quick to recognise that this is a real opportunity early in the season to showcase their brand or company to the masses enjoying a fantastic bank holiday weekend in the town.

“We’re finding that many businesses are viewing the festival as a great way to kick start the season which will complement their air festival trading boost at the end of the summer.

“We have already sold a lot of the space as businesses race to take up this opportunity and are receiving a high volume of requests for trading information packs, so it won’t be long before all the best places have been snapped up – so don’t let your business miss out.”
