AIR traffic simulator specialist Micro Nav has appointed a new chief operating officer.
Stephen Williams, pictured, joins the Bournemouth-based company from Cobham, where he was director of the air traffic control business.
He started out in software development and has worked in marketing, programme management, operations management, operations management, business transformation and general management.
Mr Williams brings with him experience gained in the UK, Europe, Asia and the USA.
He said: “Customer requirements are constantly evolving and businesses need to evolve to meet them in order to continue being successful.
“Micro Nav recognises this and I look forward to using my experience in leading change to create value for both our customers and Micro Nav.”
Mike Male, managing director of Micro Nav and one of its founders, said: “We are all very excited to have Stephen on board. His experience and skill set will support the company’s continued growth and manage the development of our operational processes to ensure a smooth transition into our next expansion phase.”
Micro Nav provides air traffic simulation and training systems in more than 25 countries.
