MARKETING and communications agency McKenna Townsend scored 87 per cent in its annual audit by the Public Relations Consultancy Association.
The association’s consultancy management standard (CMS) is the industry’s quality certification system for public relations firms.
Matt McKenna, co-managing director of the Ringwood-based agency, said: “The CMS is the benchmark for PR excellence and underlines the outstanding work and the results we achieve for our clients.
“We are really proud of the hard work that the team put in every single day to ensure our quality standards are so high. “To achieve such an excellent score is testament to everyone’s professionalism and commitment not just to the agency and our clients, but also to the PR industry.”
The CMS is independently audited and combines elements of ISO 9000 and Investors In People with criteria specific to the public relations industry.
McKenna Townsend, which has been established for 10 years, works for a range of clients including Subway, Care South, Fairline Boats, MDL Marinas, the National Marine Aquarium, Vetus, and Condor Ferries.
