A FLORIST is supporting the British Heart Foundation by helping raise money and awareness during February.
Flowers at 166 has erected a 12ft-tall heart outside its shop in Char-minster.
The heart, made out of twisted willow, is sprayed red and features hundreds of entwined lights to draw attention.
Sarah Patient, owner of the Charminster Road business, said: “Valentine’s Day is always a fun day to show someone special you love them – putting your heart on your sleeve, as it were. Following that theme, we wanted to help the great people at the BHF by raising cash.
“Not only will we have donation boxes in the shop, but we will also be giving 10p from every single rose sold over the Valentine’s period to the BHF.”
