A 72-year-old man died at an address in Boscombe today after an ambulance and the police attended the scene.
Dorset Police confirmed they received a call from the ambulance service at 1.50pm, which said they were attending a medical emergency on Ashley Road.
Paramedics required assistance from the police to enter the property and after gaining access they found a man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police said there were no suspicious circumstances and that his next of kin and the coroner have been informed.
An eyewitness had earlier described seeing an ambulance and police car rushing to the scene and causing some traffic delays near the bus station.
