Bournemouth Airport welcomes new Turkish route with operator OSKA Travel

First published in News

HOLIDAYMAKERS are being offered the opportunity to fly to Turkey from Bournemouth Airport this spring.

The announcement that tour operator OSKA Travel will be offering flights to Antalya in April comes less than two weeks after Ryanair announced Crete would also be added to their destination list.

Paul Knight, managing director of Bournemouth Airport, said the flights will prove a hit with customers.

“Their holidays are excellent value for money and I’m sure they will prove to be really popular with our passengers.

“We’re looking to provide more options and services for customers using our airport and this will extend our connections further into Europe,” he added.

I would rather not have a holiday than visit Turkey. Why go to such a place of turmoil just to save a few pounds.

I was trying to parody the whingers. I still use Bournemouth airport and will continue to do so when I fancy any of the destinations (not very often). More flights to northern and central Europe would be welcome. I miss the Frankfurt flight.

In any case, I suspect the trains from Bucharest have stopped running since all the city's inhabitants moved to the UK on the 1st of January.

After that, I feel like an American who doesn't know what sarcasm is! There'll be another 'damning' report next year to say that immigration has hit an all time high.
