TRAFFIC delays are expected after a sewer burst on Poole’s busy Blandford Road.
Workers from Wessex Water were working to rectify the leak at the junction of the main road with Turlin Road and Allens Lane but the Borough of Poole could not say how long it would take to repair the road.
Temporary traffic lights were put in place to restrict while the work was carried out on Sunday afternoon and were still expected to be in place on Monday morning.
A spokesperson for Borough of Poole apologised to residents for the disruption to motorists that they anticipated the works may cause.
Wessex Water also confirmed that repairs were underway and apologised for any delays caused.
