A POOLE dance school is celebrating after students not only achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in their exams but did so with high merits and distinctions.
Ninety-six students from the Centre Stage School of Dance and Performing Arts entered the Royal Academy of Dance ballet exams.
“Our ballet students worked incredibly hard in preparation for their RAD examinations and it is their commitment and desire to do their best that has achieved such incredible results,” said principal Zoe Mather, a classically trained dancer.
“We had students from every class entered for the exams and I knew that they were all capable of doing brilliantly.
“I am just so glad that the examiner saw that on the day.
“They all shine and I am so proud.”
Centre Stage offers free trial lessons for all classes and children can try ballet from the age of two-and-a-half.
Classes can be joined at any age and the school is seeking more seven to 10 year-olds.
