A SHOOTING school is set for expansion after appointing a new member of the management team.
Colin Pennington, pictured right, has become operations manager of Purbeck Shooting School and will lead sales and marketing at the Wareham business, as well as managing development plans.
He spent more than 14 years with technology giant Siemens, and was responsible for the sales of intelligent traffic systems in the UK and Europe for the last seven of those years.
Graham Brown, senior instructor and managing director of Purbeck Shooting School for the past 18 years, said: “Colin is a highly-experienced sales leader and qualified shooting instructor.
“To help sustain the school’s growth and augment the business further, his talent and experience will strengthen the management team and provide a considerable boost to the commercial operation of Purbeck Shooting School.”
The appointment follows the school’s success in being awarded exclusive UK distribution agreements by American shotgun company Kolar and Green Shoot, suppliers of environmentally-friendly biodegradable plastic wad cartridges.
