EMERGENCY crews were scrambled to Bournemouth International Airport this morning after a plane reported having an unstable undercarriage as it came into land.
Two crews from Christchurch fire station were sent to the airport to stand by in case the Beech 76 plane ran into the difficulties.
The aircraft landed safely.
A spokesman for the airport said that it turned out that there was no problem with the plane’s landing gear and emergency teams were stood down.
