A MOTORCYCLIST was injured in a rush-hour collision with a car in Poole .
The accident happened at 5.47pm near the Co-Op on Wimborne Road in the Tatnam area of the town.
It involved a silver VW Golf, registered to a man from Poole, and a red Honda motorcycle, registered to a male from Poole.
Following the collision, two crews from the South Western Ambulance Service attended and the motorcycle rider was taken to Poole Hospital.
The injuries sustained to the motorcycle rider, who was described as a male, believed to be in his 20s, are not thought to be serious.
A recovery vehicle was also used to remove the motorcycle, and no road closures were made by officers from Dorset Police while they were on scene at the incident.
